Welcome

Serving South Central Wisconsin for over 50 years, CEF of Greater Madison is the local chapter of Child Evangelism Fellowship®. CEF is the largest children’s ministry in the world, with established work in 157 countries around the globe.

CEF’s mission is to evangelize unchurched children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, disciple them, and establish them in a local church for Christian living. CEF accomplishes this mission through a variety of different ministries during the summer and school year, going to where children are outside of church walls. CEF also offers college-accredited training courses and other training opportunities to equip workers to reach children effectively for Christ.

Thousands of children are reached with the Gospel message each year in the state of Wisconsin alone!

TCE 1 is an extension course of Children’s Ministries Institute in Warrenton, Missouri. Credit for this course, taken at one of over 280 extension sites across the United States, may be applied toward the complete 12-week diploma program. Academic credit may be available through various colleges. For example, a Bachelor of Science in Religion with specialization in Children’s Ministry and a Master of Art in Children’s Ministries is offered through Liberty University through a distance learning program. Students can earn five Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in professional education or in Bible for completing this TCE 1 course.

The students will have an increased knowledge about the spiritual needs of children, learn effective methods of evangelism, gain basic skills for organizing and conducting productive children’s Bible classes, and experience practical ideas which make learning enjoyable for boys and girls.

Summer Missionaries Need Your Help!

Are you interested in helping our Summer Missionaries raise their financial support? Each Summer Missionary must come up with $450.00 to pay for CYIA Training; his/her wages for teaching 5-Day Clubs are in addition to that. There are several ways in which you can help:

1) We have a Scholarship Fund.

2)We are also looking for Churches to partner with the Summer Missionaries by letting them come to give a lesson for your Sunday school class or for the whole congregation with an opportunity to share their support letters with those interested.
