Teaching Children Effectively™ (TCE™) Level 1 will be offered at our office in Madison from 9 am to 1 pm for 7 Saturdays (October 4, 11, 25, November 1, 8, 15, 22, 2008). Cost is $80. There is $10 discount for more than 3 registrations from the same church, and a $20 discount for registrations made by September 20, 2008. Download printable flyer here.

Teacher Enrichment Class is right for you if you want to know more about CEF materials and how to make your class fun, exciting, and effective. Great for anyone who works with children. Classes will be held on Saturday, September 20 (9:30 am to 12 noon); Saturday, November 1 (2:00 to 4:30 pm); Saturday, January 17, 2009 (time to be announced). This excellent training is free of charge, however, we ask that you call ahead to register.

Christian Youth in Action® (CYIA™) will be held June 14-26, 2009, at Camp Fairwood. This two-week training camp will prepare young people age 14 or older to teach CEF 5-Day Clubs® throughout the Madison area in the summer of 2009.

Teaching Children Effectively (TCE) Level 2 will be offered for 6 consecutive Saturdays, 9am to 1 pm, beginning Saturday, February 7, 2009. Prerequisite is TCE Level 1.

About the Course

Teaching Children Effectively™ (TCE™) Level 1 is designed to offer a fresh approach to evangelizing and teaching children. Based on spiritual and educational principles, the course provides the methods and procedures to lead children to Christ and immediately equips the believer to begin and sustain a ministry where he lives. Student practicums are a vital part of the instructional procedure making TCE a refreshing way to train Christians in child evangelism.

Course Objectives

To provide each student with: Increased knowledge about the spiritual needs of children Effectice methods of evangelism Basic Skills for organizing and conducting productive children's Bible classes Practical ideas which make learning enjoyable for boys and girls.

Instructors

All course instructors specialize in children's ministry and are trained and certified by CEFÆ Inc.

Course Accreditation

Teaching Children Effectively (TCE) Level 1 is designed to offer a fresh approach to evangelizing and teaching children. TCE is an extensive course of the Children's Ministries InstituteÆ in Warrenton, MO. Credit for this course, taken at one of over 280 extension sites across the United States, may be applied toward the complete 12-week diploma program. Academic credit may be available through various colleges. Students can earn five Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in professional education or in Bible for completing this course.

To enroll in TCE Level 1 you must be:

A born-again Christian
At least 15 years of age
Willing to participate in all class activities including practicum sessions

Certificate Info

A certificate will be awarded by CMI™ to all who successfully complete the course.
